You’re A Social Pixie!
You are magnetic and your energy is contagious. People are attracted to you.
When faced with a problem, your positive outlook on life means that you don’t dwell on it. You are forward-looking.
Your super power radiates from your desire to encounter something unexpected, spontaneous and fresh each day.
You gain energy by social encounters. Your relationships mean the world to you and you can finesse them to create harmony in any situation.
All of a sudden, after surviving a stroke, you're incapable to do the one thing that makes you whole.
Instead of enrapturing those that you meet with your charm, you are left feeling bewildered and you start to come apart.
The feeling of embarrassment takes over and you feel resentful towards others.
You’re swimming in the cognitive, emotional and linguistic fog that isolates you, making you feel far removed from your old self.
Does it sound like you? No? Maybe we’ve got it wrong. These quizzes aren’t magic, although we are trying!

I’ve been there, where you are, and I know that it’s like being reduced to your most basic self.
I felt worthless, not capable of fitting in anywhere.
I was reduced to a needy lump, in the shell of the old Stacie.
It took some time to realise this as an opportunity, but giving myself the space to redefine me was like a gift.
Together, let’s let’s look at that process.

Hi there
I'm Stacie
I am a stroke-surviving-author, a pit bull on the way to recovery, a set-the-bar-higher-and-higher achiever, a mother to three 3rd culture kids, a beach lover and laugh ‘til I snort kind of a girl.
I was blissfully unaware…my life was good. I was happy. And then a stroke out of nowhere!
I'm giving my recovery my absolute all!
And I’m sharing my tips with brave women like you!

Your job is to paint the new you.
Go deep inside yourself and think of one small thing that you can do for yourself and your recovery today. And do it! And then do it again the next day. And the day after.
You are in control of what happens next, your best version of yourself. Who is she? Take your time finding her. Be gentle with her and, at the same time, push her a little.
If you need a little help, click to find my Becoming the Self You Love freebie.
You’ve been given a blank canvas, so get your watercolours, magic markers or your coloured pencils out and go with it.
Finding out what makes the new you tick brings relief.
Very few people know how hard it is, how much effort it is costing you to simply show up.
Keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Keep showing up!
